Kota Kinabalu, April 03, 2013. Kevin Voo Sze Kiat of Institut Sinaran Sabah (IS) has gained the top mark in the world for the AS Level Physics in the November 2012 Cambridge International Examinations. When asked about his formula for success, Kevin stated that : "Focus, putting first things first and never giving up are most important."
"Kevin is an exceptional student. He not only pays full attention during lectures, but also spends much time thinking and working out details not mentioned in lectures. Most of these details are beyond the A-Level syllabus. Kevin's attitude towards study is an exemplar for students nowadays." Mr. Chok Chu Chai, the Senior Physics Lecturer commented.
IS has an outstanding history of top scorers in the Cambridge International A-Level Examinations. Kevin's achievement has indeed made IS proud, as this is the first time in the history of IS that a student scored the top mark in the world for a science subject.
